A young Australian man is shipped off to participate in WW1 following the event of receiving a cowardly white feather. Joe wanders the trenches listlessly, until one day horse is found on no mans land, alone and gunned by a plane. But this horse is still alive, and bears the brand of Joe's fathers stud farm. This horse, is Spitfire.

It is 1914, and Henry Anderson is watching the world descend into war. Like many young men at the time, he is fascinated by the idea of warfare and glory. Henry enlists in the military against his parents' wishes and throws himself into the life of a British soldier in Flanders. But it is far from what he expects: Henry's fantasies of righteous battle fade into the grim reality of gruesome death and shell-shock. He and his fellow soldier Jacob must help each other survive the cruel trenches, but it is no longer certain that either of them will return to England alive. Told in journal entries and letters from Henry's sister Elizabeth, this reveals the realities and horrors of World War I, on the battlefield and in the homefront. I wrote this for a history project while studying WWI and got way too involved in it, so here you are. WARNINGS: gun/bomb/gas-related violence, war descriptions, graphic death, suicide attempt. Roscuroe (Old)
Many years ago, Lizens, a raptor-like race that developed a human-like intelligence, and Humans lived peacefully. Then the Lizens started a war against humans, known as the Great Lizen War. The humans won and the Lizens became a slave race to them, killing off feather manes and using sorcerers to kill their own kind. It has been said that all feather manes have gone extinct and all sorcerers were brainwashed into killing their own kind, but it was not true. Roscuroe, a feather maned illusionist, lived alone near Taylor, BC, in the burrow that his parents dug out for him before they were captured. Roscuroe never knew his parents, but he had a friend, Hannah, a pink winged mega-tooth Lizen with long flowing light pink hair. He has always had a feeling for a while that he wasn't the last feather mane, and he journeys to find more of his kind and ends up leading an army for the next Great Lizen War. Notice: The only characters I own are Roscuroe, Hannah, Harley, Celia, and the villain.Complete

March, 1918, American soldiers arrived in France and the German empire launches the spring offensive on the allies. The German Empire creates a new gas has been developed to be used on the allies, with horrific results. Now 3 people must stop the gas from being used on London, and must fight off the infected. The war between the Blacks and Whites has been going on for generations. Nibbles is a pure white mare with a mysterious past and a couple secrets that she must retain. She enters a herd with low expectations, but soon discovers that she is more than willing to fight for them, even if it is forbidden. Jake is the lead fighter of the Blacks and has incomparable skills, but he soon meets his match. The mysterious white horse refuses to fight in front of the other stallions, and it does not take him long to discover she is a mare. She rekindles his heart unintentionally and gives him a reason to grow stronger. The two of them have their own goals and wishes, but their herds may be too far apart and too full of hate to allow them both the peace they long for.Complete
