This book is about Victoria Catherine, a archangel and a demon, who was left by her older brother in the church's hands since her family and her were being chased down by powered humans. In the church, she met a boy who made her smile and happy, even though she was so miserable. In the same day, she was forced to escape using a portal. 11 years later, she has a new yet more miserable life. One day she was asked to spy on a Demon Lord as Oblivia, a Demon General, there she met Maloch, Akuma and Sabritel. Will she ever find him? Or will he find her?

It doesn't take long to realize that it's just not possible. Maisie is everything that she shouldn't be in the human realm. Bigoted, rude, and annoyingly difficult. She can't even get close to Cecilia without making some sort of remark on how she can't stand Demons. As the time ticks down and options become less and less, maybe being handcuffed to each other will teach Cecilia and Maisie a thing or two about themselves.
