This book is about Victoria Catherine, a archangel and a demon, who was left by her older brother in the church's hands since her family and her were being chased down by powered humans. In the church, she met a boy who made her smile and happy, even though she was so miserable. In the same day, she was forced to escape using a portal. 11 years later, she has a new yet more miserable life. One day she was asked to spy on a Demon Lord as Oblivia, a Demon General, there she met Maloch, Akuma and Sabritel. Will she ever find him? Or will he find her?

"How could you... last night... I was helpless! You are the one who molested me! And you dare do it again now!" she huffed. Khail wasn't affected with her crying. "Yes, I dare. You are just too sweet not to be tasted." His statement rang deep in the back of her mind. These were the words of an insensitive, cold-hearted demon. No more, no less. He was lusting on her --yes he was-- and that was the rightful particular emotion of choice. "I said don't come any closer!" she cried again when she noticed him inching more towards her. "I will stab you! I swear I will stab you demon or not!!!" she threatened, but it was only gibberish talk for Khail. "Nonsense Selene. Stab me if you want," he urged and this surprised her greatly. He continued to close in on her and this time, Selene didn't hesitate plunging the knife into his chest. ~ S ~ Easy for Supernaturals to live their life in what everybody calls 'forever'. That is easy for angels yes, but for demons, it is most likely a damnation of boredom. And that -- is the truth. However, how much more would it be for a demon who has a unique power to wield time and space? Please, try not to hate her. She's just a girl, after all. She's still figuring things out and doesn't understand what love truly means. She's never learned how to love or be loved. It's not entirely her fault. Others should have tried harder to understand her instead of blaming her. They left her feeling abandoned and labeled her as a monster. "This is an Angel girl named Maisie Lark. She hasn't ever stepped foot into the 'real world'. Attempting to break the lock is useless and I have the key. I've extended the olive branch. Maisie's your motive. Come find me when you're ready." Cecilia Star has been alive long enough to know what it's like to be a demon in the human realm, but she's also been alive long enough to cope with her everyday life. But when she wakes up handcuffed to a strange Angel she's never met before, she's thrown for a loop. Cecilia assumes it's all just one big, extremely cruel prank by the twins in order to rile her up and test her limits. After all, Maisie is everything that Cecilia would rather leave behind her, determined, opinionated, and so very clearly wrong. But it doesn't take Cecilia and Maisie long to realize that the handcuff prank is a little more than just a lighthearted joke. The thing about Demon metal is that it is a fickle thing. It can only be unlocked by the person who has the key and no matter what method is used, it cannot be broken. Cecilia would rather just forget the whole thing, refuse to give Ezekiel the satisfaction he so wants, and remain handcuffed to Maisie for the rest of her life. It doesn't take long to realize that it's just not possible. Maisie is everything that she shouldn't be in the human realm. Bigoted, rude, and annoyingly difficult. She can't even get close to Cecilia without making some sort of remark on how she can't stand Demons. As the time ticks down and options become less and less, maybe being handcuffed to each other will teach Cecilia and Maisie a thing or two about themselves.
