"Is it wrong that I have a crush on someone?" The infamous superhero, Dark Knight said, while scratching him arm.
"What?! Of course not! I mean... you have feelings too, don't you?" I said laughing, trying to break the awkwardness between us. But it made things more awkward when I found I was the only one laughing.
"But I guess it's gonna be hard, having a superhero boyfriend..." I said to him.
"Yeah, no kidding, I broke up with Gabi because of my job," He said with his robotic voice.
"Well, I think saving lives are more important than dating..." I said to make him feel better.
"And if I was your GF, I would probably search a job where I can be close to you... like a cop or a detective!" I said smiling. It's true, I would do that.
"You dork ," he said smiling, and I can feel my face getting hotter.

They do say you should always keep an eye over your shoulder, especially when you know you're being hunted, but for Amelia, even an eye in every direction wouldn't be enough. Time begins counting down, fast. Did she want to involve her friends? Could the new people in her life be trusted? She wouldn't have long to make a decision.
