Mable Lawrence has never considered herself a heroine. She's ordinary, the girl who didn't even finish college, living off her sisters' paychecks while she cares for their ill father.  She goes about her day-to-day routine on autopilot, accepting the fact that she won't get a happily ever after like in the stories. 
That all changes on the day she goes for a walk on a nearby hiking trail in her home town of Berkshire, Vermont. Suddenly, Mable is trapped in an enchanted castle, with magical servants and their "Master", a man turned hideous by a terrible curse. Only true love can free them all from their prison, and the castle residents are convinced Mable is the one who will save them all.
But Mable does not want to fall in love; she just wants to go back to her normal, everyday life. Yet the longer she stays, the harder it becomes to go back to the life she both wants and rejects. We all know the story of Beauty and the Beast. This story follows the outline of the traditional story pretty well with some changes to make it seems more real, more intense, and not such a fairytale. There's a Mansion secluded in the thick forest south of town that Isabelle happened to run into one very stormy night. Denied help from the Master, but aided by the servants, she finds her life intertwined with theirs and there's nothing she can do to stop it. The Master is horrible - beastly. He's powerful, and manages to put Isabelle under a spell of his own. A story of two people learning about themselves by falling in love with the other. Here's my version of Beauty and the Beast.

In order to save his sister and find a way home, Leo will have to confront an evil queen who lives in an office cubicle, a few mice with horrible fashion sense, and a girl with green skin and webbed toes (but hey, at least she's kind of cute). And he'll have to do it all before the clock strikes midnight or risk being trapped in Pittsborough forever. Annie finally gets the nerve to leave a bad relationship. With nothing but an old truck and camper, she starts driving to what she hopes is a new beginning. Somehow, she ends up in the cursed lands of Greyson. She finds she is trapped in a world where time stands still, and magic exist. At first it seems like a paradise. But like they say, when it seems too good to be true, most of the time it is. When there is a misunderstanding, the king accuses Annie of stealing and he kicks her out of the castle. Done with feeling rejected and alone, Annie decides it's time to find a way out. As she tries to find her way out, she starts to learn more about the curse and its people. She also starts to realize maybe the king is not as big of a monster as she thought. Even though most of Greyson is beautiful, something evil is lurking.
