Hardworking Maya Dianie Garber, who goes by M.D. for short, is no different from anybody where she comes from- the West side. The West side is known as the poor, good-for-nothing side, while the East side is known as the rich side. The people who don't have to wonder if they're going to bed hungry side.
M.D. believed, just like everybody else from her side, that the East siders were stuck up, and didn't care about anything other than themselves and their fancy cars.
Her views start to change when a twelve year old East sider was beaten unconscious by a couple of people from her side, and when she meets a new friend, who also happened to be from the East side.
Follow Maya on her adventure while tensions rise in the community, friendships and relationships form, and fall apart.
