**COMPANION TO MY LOST LOVE**

Kendall Williams' life was perfect in everyone's eyes. She had a perfect boyfriend, she was on the dance and cheer team at school, she got good grades, and spent her free time volunteering at the local retirement village. Only what everyone doesn't know is that her boyfriend is gay, she may lose her spot on dance and cheer due to her failing math grade, a friend at the retirement village is sick, and her father is an alcoholic. 

Every day, she has to fight to keep going in life, and that's what she does. She fights to fix the problems in her life. She fights to let herself fall in love again. She fights to prepare herself for the next chapter in her life. This is her story. This is her fight.

George is 17 and in his last year of high school when he gets terrible news. After having weird nosebleeds, strange bruises and a lot of dizziness, the doctors find out George has leukaemia. George's best friend, Clay, is there the whole day for George and as George fights his battle against leukaemia, Clay supports him in every way possible. He shaves his head too and is there with George in all of his chemos. He buys George his favourite beanies and even let someone make one for him. But doctors start to lose hope of George ever getting better and since there is no match for a stem cell transplantation, there is only one person left to help him. Only the chances of that working are even smaller. TW's: -Leukaemia (blood cancer) -Chemotherapy -Tube feeding -Throwing up
