I'm Ready (But Am I Really?)

This is based off of thepastelpeach on YouTube who made an amazing Sanders Sides animatic of the song, Ready as I'll Ever Be. I kind of changed the story a little bit to fit my liking, but most of it will be pretty similar to what's in the description of the video. If you haven't already, you should check out that video.
Also credits to whoever drew this (yes, I stole this off the internet). I'm not sure who drew this but this sure as heck ain't mine.
Roman is a peasant who lives a very poor, yet happy life. Everything changes when he meets Patton, Virgil, and Logan, who all work for the prince of the kingdom. Roman wants to join them, but can't. He is then presented with an option to be the ruler of his own kingdom. Will he accept?

After spending several years in a stable environment they're moving again, this time not only are they leaving behind friends but also their mother's grave. Prince Roman of the Ironfelt Kingdom is well known for being a heroic, flirtatious man. Everyone respects him, and sees him as a mighty hero, however as much of a hero he is, he's lonely. His only real friend is his Royal Assistant Logan Crofters. Lord Virgil Anxiety of the Dark Forest is the ruler and protector of the dark forest. He's known more as a legend/myth to everyone outside the dark forest, or as a evil, vious ruler. But to the creatures in the forest, he's a kind, lonely protector that just needs a little love. His only friend is a village boy that visits him named Patton Morre. Two completely different lives, but maybe, just maybe one completly similar love. #1 in Prince Roman and Winged Virgil(July 16, 2019) (I do not own Roman, Virgil, Logan, Patton or Deceit. They all belong to Thomas Sanders. Ocs may be presented at certain times but only for plot reasons, such as Roman's parents, or townsfolk.) Boy x Boy. If you don't like this kinda stuff then don't read it. Only rated mature for foul language, a lot of cursing, blood, gore, violence, mentions of self harm, abuse, and other deep topics. If this makes you uncomfortable or triggers you then don't read it! Virgil is a poor peasant under the curse of an evil warlock who only goes by the name Deceit. Roman, the young and popular dashing king is lonely and is in search of a queen or king. The two bump into each other on accident and worlds collide between the two. Roman suddenly feels like he has company and Virgil has a new feeling he can't describe. When Virgil's master finds out it only brings hell for the star-cross lovers with a curse and a whole lot of trouble standing in the way between the two. Disclaimer: I don't own any of Sanders sides characters, they all belong to Thomas Sanders, I don't own the very little art in here, or the songs I use, OR any of the photos I found on safari... all that's mine is the story plot. "What is up everybody?" Another video, another dilemma. But today Thomas has a little trouble starting up. Now with everything out of place, what can they do to set things right again? Roman will not get left behind... Have you ever just thought up a random plot for Sanders Sides a long time ago and wanted to type it up but it didn't fit your normal writing style so you put it off until one day you actually start? Then a week later you've written over an hour's worth of a script and are low-key proud of it? It's not just me, right? This is a silly story taking place in the episode after Putting Others First. Prinxiety (AU)
Roman is a great leader to his kingdom. He is as noble as he can be, loyal to all, and is incredibly generous to his subjects. He is known as one of the best leader his kingdom has ever had. Everyone sees him as this kind, loving, perfect prince that puts his kingdom before himself. But he's actually a lonely, confused prince that wants someone who he can love and they feel the same way. His friend Logan doesn't know what he's feeling because he has no feelings to feel. Logan says that that Roman should focus more on his roll as leader of the kingdom than worry about his 'love life.' Roman starts to believe him for awhile until two men that are Roman's subjects visit the palace to start working for the prince. Roman however notices that one of the men looks gorgeous. He was dressed in black and goes by the name Anxiety. Roman ends up falling for this beautiful gentleman but he doesn't known what he's been through. (Book #1 of Sanders Sides Movie-Verse Series) Thomas and the Sides decided to have a Disney type of vacation in the mind. Roman creates a kingdom and has Thomas be king. What no one counted on would be Deceit trapping them all there and turning Roman into the villain of this Disney fiasco. Virgil has to be the role of hero.
