As a 13 year old student in Ataraxia, Meiha Jacks Suoh will reach a point when she will turn 14. On that day, her Day of Awakening, she must take the Adult Examination.
However, after her strange dreams of a beautiful man have plagued her sleep for days, her test is interrupted, and she is saved by the leader of the Mu.
The Mu are a strange race of humans that possess Telepathy and many other unique powers. The humans, upon finding a Mu, must dispose of them. They claim Mu are a danger to the human race.

As Meiha struggles to fit in among the other Mu, much like her friend Jomy who was rescued on his Day of Awakening, she senses strange things around her. Everything she was told was a lie, she would never see her parents again.
To add to that, her feelings for the beautiful Mu leader are growing - is that why she feels jealous seeing a woman hold his hand?

Meiha struggles to control her Mu powers, and communicate with the others around her - who don't like humans!
Keeping her thoughts and feelings quiet will prove to be more difficult than she thought around the Mu.
Does the leader already know? How long until he does?
Meiha worries for when she will be killed by Superior Dominance and Universal Control, but she worries even more that she might not make it with the Mu race to their promised land - Terra.

This anime is underrated, and I have not so far met someone who has SEEN it already. It is a beautiful anime and very addicting. If you have not already, I highly siggest you look into it!
