Melissa Brown was your typical teenage girl until the age of 16 when her twin sister was raped and killed by her abusive ex boyfriend. After that day her life become miserable, not only she lost her sister she also lost the possibility for a normal life. Her parents and her brother became super protective and monitored every step because they feared that something bad would happen to her too. The only things she was allowed to do was go to school or to the library and even then her brother would be like a shadow to her. She didn't have a social life and she felt trapped...

At the age of 19 Melissa goes to college where she tries to fit in and start a new life, leaving her past behind. When she finally feels like she fits and her past is just a memory and she is happy with her new friends and her boyfriend everything comes to a crush at a party.  There she learns that the only reason why her "perfect" boyfriend was with her is because of a stupid bet that he made with his friends where he was bragging that he would sleep with her in a month. When she confronts him with the hope that everything is a lie he not only accepts it but he tells her that that if she doesn't sleep with him that day he would lose a ton of money. When Nicole refuses and tries to run her drunken boyfriend rapes her taking her virginity and then goes and brages to his friends and tell them to pay their share, leaving a crying a shocked Nicole behind.
Now that her sister's history almost repeats itself will Nicole be able to find the necessary strength to live and maybe love again?
