"I can't resist him." Scarlet said to herself as she drew close and began to stare at him with gazed eyes.
"I felt his lips against my shoulder, soft and scorching and tender, so gentle I could almost believe it's the kiss of a breeze and not with this asshole. I can't believe I fell for him, What have I done to myself."
"We can't do this," She whispered. Scarlet dropped her hold and exhaled, gouging shaky fingers through disheveled mahogany brown hair. Her gaze returned, capturing his and riddled with regret.
