Once in every 1,000 years four children are born. Each one has the power of one for the four elements water, fire, air and earth. Anastasia, Jack, Emily and Max are the ones gifted with these powers, or are they? They will soon find out that these are not gifts. They must learn their to control their powers and defeat the dark king who rules a far away land that poses a threat to the world. Can they learn how to control their powers or will they die trying?

In a world where magic exists and legends are as common as the morning sun, having powers can get you killed. Terra, Kai, Amber, and Zephyr are anything but normal. Mixing Elements
The balance of nature is a beautiful thing. Everyone knows that balance is helped by Mother Nature. What people don't know is that there is too much chaos in the world for one person to handle. Mother Nature needed help to keep the balance between humans and nature. She chose four people. Four elements. Fire, air, earth, and water. Four people to help control the world's balance with their element. These four people are chosen from birth. Fire is strong and confident, yet badly tempered. Air is free-spirited, often a dancer who likes gossip. Earth is stubborn and greatly built. A great debater. Water is calm and graceful. If you mess with them though they can be worse than fire. Mother Nature chooses the new generation of elements based on who they are inside from birth. She trains them to use their element in secret. If society knew the elements walked among them the results could be catastrophic. People can belief in someone bigger than themselves, but if they knew what really went on the balance would die. The elements are to tell no one of their powers. The four most often form two couples. Mainly fire with air, and earth with water. The balance naturally is two boys and two girls. This is the story of four talented people who changed the rules, and dealt with the biggest natural chaos of mankind, that mankind never knew.

Eight children born on a planet that didn't believe in magic were born with powers that dealt with the four elements. Two of the children, a male and a female, could use the same element and were a part of the same group. Eight children born on a planet that didn't believe in magic were called together to help protect the planet that didn't believe in them from a person who had come back from the dead to destroy another world, another planet where these children were hiding. Earth, water, air and fire are the four known elements that gives balance and harmony to nature.
