Over a million years ago, when the world was formed, these 11 gems formed alongside it. These gems each had a specific role to play in the forming of the earth; Fire, Water, Rock, Wind, Time, Space, Illusion, Mind, Balance, and (the most powerful of them all) Reality. When humans came along they learned they could control the power the gems radiate but over time they discovered only a finite amount of people could. Mortals became jealous of warlocks and witches and attempted to kill them all the mages hid the 10 gems across the surface of the world and hid below the surface with the real stone. never to be seen again.
