Jonathan was a very empathetic person. A little too empathetic. He had a rare condition called Mirror-Touch Synthesia, where he could feel people's pain. He lived in a very peaceful town until something happens to make it not-so-peaceful. Many things actually.
Chris was a sociopath. That's basically it. He didn't understand social cues and facial expressions and he sometimes wondered why people do certain things. He was constantly bullied as a kid, that is, until he showed them what he could do. He was the top dog. Now, his dad got a new job at a place called Acrington, and everything was new.
Ashley wanted to be free. Free from everyone and everything that tied her down. Her family treated her like a slave and she was tired of it. Something she did forced her family to move to Acrington. They had said 'It's a fresh start. A new beginning.' But, for her, nothing had changed.
Caroline is haunted by her past. As an orphan, she had moved from home to home, so when she has to be relocated, she isn't too surprised. She ends up in Acrington and her past haunts on.
Nico had issues. That much, was certain. He was highly suicidal, but everything he tried, failed immensely. After his latest attempt, his parents and him drop everything and move him to Acrington. His future was awaiting and he wasn't too sure of what would come from it.
Alex had lived a troubling life. With abusive parents who mentally and physically pushed them around and didn't understand their motives for anything they did. They were genderfluid and highly misunderstood by everyone around them. When their parents get divorced, their family ends up moving to Acrington to escape their past. Freedom is a state of mind.
When these 6 meet, what will come of it? Will it be the world's worst matchup or the universes biggest sign. Nobody knows. Guess you'll have to read to find out.
