Vivian is actually a man. Yes, a man. He is actually a man who have lived for a long time. As he lived he decided to stay dressing like a woman but still intensify himself as a man. Changed his name and everything. Well not his body. He actually has a son. And a soulmate but his soulmate dumped him for someone else.

Ariel is a human. But he has knowledge that normal humans don't have. He knows all about the supernatural world. Magic, creatures and the like. How? Because he too had a soulmate. But just like Vivian he too got rejected by his soulmate. 

When the two meet the two found out they had more things in common than they thought they would. 

And no. They do not get together.  The two are not a couple.
