Jimmy Olsen, Robin, Grover Underwood ... familiar names? They all have one thing in common, it is the wonderful ability to be the perfect sidekick. A friend/associate of a more popular, charismatic person. The sidekick gains most of his/her acclaim from merely being connected so closely to the more powerful acquaintance. Sidekicks can be found anywhere from comic books (where the term began) to the workplace and schoolyard..... that's Urban dictionary's take on a sidekick. Now that is exactly what I have had the opportunity of being subjected to several times in my life... okay, who am I kidding that's pretty much who I have been for my entire 16 years of existence. Some people say it's sad being a sidekick but I beg to differ, there are quite a few advantages to being a sidekick. let's check out a few:-
•	You get to meet several famous people because of your popular best friend.
•	You become a social "butterfly" (I'd rather refer to it as "social leech" that sucks out popularity from other's lives and survives on that... I'm just kidding)
•	You receive special services from random people BECAUSE of your popular friend
Yeah, those are some of the advantages of being a sidekick if you look into the issue closely I'm pretty sure you could find more.
Anyway with that being said let's find out how I managed to deal with life being a sidekick (sure it has its advantages but come on how long can you ACTUALLY survive as one?)Tous Droits Réservés

All Sassy Suthers wanted to do with her life was get through school and work on her plans for the future. "Stop being so loud princess its 6 in the morning," he got up and put on his pants "Starring now our we princess?" he said cockily "Whats there to see?" I said sarcastically looking away. He walked up to me and moved my head to face him "Do I need to remind you about last night, princess?" I moved away from his hand and back up "No, I'm leaving" "Oh so soon," he said clearly trying to annoy me "Yes, I shouldn't have stayed, to begin with, and if you ever tell anyone about this I'll have your head." "Oo looks like I was wrong about you, you're, not a princess you're a queen, of hearts," he said smirking as I slammed the door and ran down the stairs and out the door and called Melissa as I started walking home. And I unknowingly left the key's to my motorcycle there along with my underwear!

"Well then. That's the first time a girl has ever rejected my close proximity," he said, eyes ablaze with a playful fire. "You better get used to it," I retorted as I spun on my heel and headed for the school doors that led to the outside. "I've never met anyone like you before," he called after me, this time, not coming after me. "I know, Romeo. I'm a special little snowflake," I called back, not turning around. "You got the 'little' part right there, Princess!" he shouted after me. I threw up my middle finger back to him and heard him laugh as I exited out the doors rather dramatically. ... I'm tired of all those high school stories about a straight-A girl student with the perfect life who falls for the stereotypical Mr. Bad Boy who wears leather black jackets and only has a soft spot for her. Shortlisted for the Open Novella Contest 2019 • Being a Supervillain is tough. Between managing a secret lair and making sure your mom doesn't stop loving you because you keep telling everyone she's dead, it's a really hard business to be good at? Add to that, the fact that somehow you got arrested because your cat sitter didn't take the day off and then you go around expressing your unconditional love for pancakes in a Super holding cell because technically they can't put you in a proper prison and you don't really have a choice because lawyers are expensive? And then, you realise your best friend is plotting go take over your spot as the greatest villain there ever was? Okay, maybe not the greatest, but you do come pretty close to it! To top it off, there's that one Superhero who's just so completely gorgeous, you couldn't imagine any harm coming to them? Because they're just that precious? I guess that makes me a Supervillain with minor time travel superpowers and a huge crush on a not so powerful Superhero? And all you have to do is protect yourself and everyone you love from your ex best friend/sidekick --because let's face it that's the highest level of praise for a wretched traitor here--and you also have to get out of Super Holding somehow? What could go wrong? Right?

"Hey give it back!" I squel as I try to get hold of the remote that was snatched away from me a while ago. He just stood an inch away from where I was sitting and I couldn't even stand up because my crutches were in the corner of the room. "Fuck you." I say, hitting his right knee with my fist. I grumpily fold my arms and knit my eyebrows together which meant I-am-so-mad-at-you-right-now. "This is so much fun." He says and whips his eye that had moistened up by so much laughing at my helplessness. _______________________________ Isn't it weird when your life suddenly takes a turn from being boring to exciting by just somebody entering your life? The same thing happens to Lea where all she had was her best friend and her intellegent mind. But when Tyler Walters gets admission in her school and becomes her deskmate.... COMPLETED "You are pretty dumb for a dork," I laugh as Justin hangs his head down in defeat, "Let me show you" I fiddle around with the displaced parts until it clicks together and the record player starts playing again, "See it's supposed to do that!" "You are pretty smart for a slut." He says back with a laugh but, I can see on his face he instantly regrets it. My mouth is hanging open, in complete shock, when he continues "I'm sorry I didn't mean it-" "No, stop," I say with a slight laugh and then for some reason it grows to a full-blown fit of laughter, "No. one. has. ever. called. me. that. to. My. face" I manage to get out through my small, continuing fits of laughter. "You aren't mad at me?" "No, it's not like that an unknown fact," I saw with a smile, "I'm actually surprised you had the balls to say it." "I don't think you are a slut," He says, his cheeks getting a little flushed. In my most breathy, husky voice, I answer, "are you sure, Justin? I know you have thought about the things I would let you do to me if I would just get naked in front of you." As I start to pull off the sweater that is covering the small tank top that's under it. His face flushes a deeper color of red and I can't help but, giggle a little. "Don't worry Justin, I won't get naked unless you ask." Justin and Blythe are basically polar opposites from each other but, because of one class, they find themselves having to learn everything they can about each other. Where will this story take them?
