Queen Athena, of the Kingdom of Aereth, is sick. It won't be long, before she passes away however, she has a daughter, Ivana, who will carry on her legacy. On the night before Ivana's twentieth birthday, she is told of her destiny. The demons, from the kingdom of Morpheus, are hungry for revenge. They were defeated by the great battle, one thousand years ago but, they have grown stronger and are ready to fight - once more. They want to destroy all magic, from the three realms, and bring havoc - where there is peace.

Her best friend Nixie, embarks on this journey with her. She will do anything to protect her future queen. After all, they are like sisters. As Ivana travels to the other two kingdoms; The kingdom of Shanara and the Kingdom of Alynthi - to warn them about the final battle, she meets one of the ruler's son - Tristan. Soon, she begins to fall in love with him but, she must remember what is at stake. There is no time for love, at a time as such so, she must ignore her feelings and continue to fulfil her destiny. Tristan is already in love with Audrey yet, he begins to fall for Ivana. What will happen to this love triangle?

The final battle is approaching and Ivana must go to the lake of Valour, to claim her birth right. There, she will wield the phoenix sword, in order to defeat the demons, and restore magic and peace to all the kingdoms. She will embrace her phoenix powers, and as time goes on... destiny will begin calling - louder.
