In Mistclan things can be hidden, friends can be secretive, and bad things tend to happen. Lilypaw lost her mother and believed her father was never a part of the clan. Her brother does all he can to help her, but it's impossible to get close to her; she keeps her distance from almost everyone in the clan and refuses to let anyone get close. But what will happen when she has to let them in or cats will be killed all over. And how will she react when a rogue and not a clan cat manages to get past her defenses and find his way to her heart? Will he be able to help her get past what she's up against or will he simply leave again? He is a rogue, after all. . . And when Lilypaw finds there's a prophecy she's a huge part of what will she do?

The dream has a prophecy that states: Five cats, Frozen Storm, Birch Oaks, and Blowing feathers, chosen by Starclan must save the Forest, the Night, the Water, and the Sun from the destruction of Black Ashes and Golden wings. Snowpaw has to figure out what this prophecy means and save the four clans from the destruction of Black Ashes and Golden Wings.

Everyone swoons over her, sympathising with her, caring for her, when all she wants is for cats not to do that, to listen. However, when StarClan tell her of this evil, she may get the chance to prove herself to everyone. Rockpaw feels like an outcast, everyday being hated on by his Clanmates for seeing things differently. So when the chance to prove them wrong comes up, he doesn't give it a second thought. But the evil still resides, and Rockpaw might know more about it then he's letting on, even to himself. Greyshard, as a former kittypet, has always thought of life in the Clans as challenging. For her, everything seems to go wrong. Every plan, every schedule, every patrol - ends up in a disaster, and its always because of her.
