"No," Alex said, shaking his head at Mrs Jones.

"My name's Alex Leoni," he smiled (fake) and held his hand out.

"Sing? I mean, I'll try..." he frowned and got ready.

"With me all the while..." he sang with Nicole, grinning properly for the first time in ages.

"I don't want to do this, you know," he warned. "But Alex Rider has to do what he doesn't want to do."

Alex Rider has to go to America and be Alex Leoni, a normal teenage boy. A new school usually means a new start; not for Alex. He has to search for the thief. The thief who is helping the newest, dangerous organisation.
And throughout all of this, he has to stay under the guise of a normal teenage boy. Falling in love along the way, making new friends, and lying is hard, but he'll do it. After all, he's Alex Rider, and the impossible is possible for him.
