They've developed feelings for each other, but the practice of loving the same gender was not yet accepted within these areas. Anneliese's parents, the King and Queen, try to sell Angie off, but upon hearing this, Anneliese protests and opposes their idea. Eventually, the King and Queen make the decision to assign her an arranged marriage with an ally, the kingdom of Glacialia.
