It is merely a telling of what you have already read in canon, just from a different perspective. 3. Move to "The Chamber of Secrets" and start with the chapter titled "TOM MARVOLO RIDDLE." All the chapters before that are, once again, events you would already be familiar with. 4. Finish book 2 and move on to book 3. There on after, you can read normally. This isn't compulsory. It is simply, in my opinion, the best way to enjoy the series. Since I understand that some portions of the first two books are not very different from canon and thus, can seen boring. Eventually, the King and Queen make the decision to assign her an arranged marriage with an ally, the kingdom of Glacialia.
