India and China Williams were best friends. They were identical twins, after all. However, they had very different personalities. India being the outwardly confident, standoff-ish sister who liked the idea of rebellion and always did things her own way. China being the always nice, social butterfly who liked things the way they were and stayed out of trouble.
Dione Tucker and Marcus Hill were best friends too. These boys grew up together and considered eachother brothers. Both young men came from a small town with big activity. Dione turned to the streets to become a dope boy. Marcus turned to his schoolwork to keep his mind occupied.
