Cleo Vexer, a problematic teenage girl, is the sensation of your average pessimist and mediocre criminal. Still having to survive the rest of her senior year bitter and lonely, she finds herself in the depths of melancholy.

Here enters Caslon Allway, a boy destined of a dull future, living life as a puppet in the shadows of a family legacy. Coming across Cleo, he finally finds the escape he needs to defy a future he doesn't want. She is hesitant of his intentions, but agrees in order to fulfill the empty hole in her heart.

Two people, wanting to fall in love for selfish reasons. It's only fair that it'll soon crumble to its own ashes.
