Not in the manner that they should. I had it all! The perfect husband. Johnny, he was everything a woman could dream of. Until I lost him, then my whole world shattered once again. He wants to take pictures. The beauty of the world draws him in more than anything else has. He wants to capture this beauty through the lens of a camera. This is what he wants to do with his life. Unfortunately, he doesn't dare to think that way. Until he meets Star. A brave, charming, sarcastic, music obsessed girl who steals his heart at first glance. He doesn't want to get close to people but why is he letting his guard down for her? Is he making a big mistake by letting her into his heart, into his life? Star discovers that this seemingly unbearable guy loves music almost as much as she does and just that single fact makes her heart soften a little so she lets her guard down for just a tiny bit. But after that one moment that she decides to let it down, she realises that she can't get it back up again. I think that's why we're still trying so desperately to get back to some sort of normalcy. Four years later and we're still on the ground, crawling, in search of the happiness that was lost that June. Summers will never be the same. Midnight walks through my neighborhood will never be the same. Field parties with bonfires and loud music will never be the same. I still don't know why you left and what lead you to the decision you made. What I do know is that we're here. We're alive and we're pushing forward to the future. A future that you're not a part of.
