I wrote a lot between 2019-2021. Most of it was fanfiction, but looking back on it the progress I made between them is cool to me. They will all be in order of when they were started, but none are complete and some are just a few pages long. Others last near a hundred pages. You could somewhat consider these oneshots, but they really range in length; one is just more than 100 words but another is close to 30,000. Plus, some don't even get to the part where you meet the love interest. Some of the older stories contain sensitive subjects, i.e. self-harm, suicide, abuse, bullying. H2O: Just Add the Heroes of Olympus
COMPLETED "Percy rounded the corner of the boat and saw the last thing he expected to see: a mermaid." After the Giant War ended, Percy Jackson, Annabeth Chase, Jason Grace, and Piper McLean decide they need a vacation. They needed a break from all the monsters, so they decide to go to Australia, one of the only places on Earth where the gods have never ruled. During their time there, they meet some interesting girls that might just introduce a whole new problem to their hero to-do list. Takes place after the Blood of Olympus and before the Hidden Oracle... just pretend there is a time gap in there. The title is very unoriginal but I had nothing else lol But the STORY is original. I do own the plot and I made sure it was not like anything I had ever read before. Any resemblance to your plot is completely coincidental! ***NONE OF THE CHARACTERS IN THIS STORY BELONG TO ME. Okay, so I'd just like to say that this is not well written whatsoever lol. All the grammar is correct, and there's some decent description, but it all feels very rushed if I'm honest. I tried to cram too many ideas in and yeah, it made.. whatever this is. Uh, I have some one-shots on my profile which might be better to read?... If you don't mind a fic being rushed this is probably great for you, lol, but the plot line is very higgledy piggeldy. Um, enjoy? Percy X Apollo Percy Jackson is tired. Of everything. He and Annabeth broke up after the fall into Tartarus, neither being able to look at the other the same way. Sure, they stayed friends, but that doesn't make Percy feel any better about it. Some of the gods are concerned, but Zeus is forbidding them from checking in on him, intent on leaving demigods alone despite all they've done for the Olympians. Apollo, however, is ignoring this order. He cares a little too much about Percy to watch him suffer in silence. But when a new threat arises, how will the Olympians handle it? How will the demigods handle it? This is very all over the place, but I think it turned out well in the end. (This is future me in brackets, btw, it did not turn out well lmao). In this story, Nico is overprotective of Percy (still solangelo though) as a best friend. He's forgiven Percy for the whole ordeal about Bianca and now they're pretty close, both confiding in each other about things they never thought they'd tell a soul. The ships are: Pipabeth - Piper + Annabeth Chrisse - Clarisse + Chris Solangelo - Nico + Will Valgrace (platonic) - Jason + Leo because I despise Caleo sorry lmao Perpollo - Percy + Apollo I do not own any of these characters, all rights are to Rick Riordan other than the storyline/plot. Life of A Young Demigod: Book 1 (Percy Jackson reader insert)
COMPLETED! This is a m!reader-insert fic based in the Percy Jackson universe, as I imagine you can tell. I'm just starting this (as of early March 2023), and have very little writing experience, at least with this style, so forgive me if it begins a bit rough, I will likely go back and clean things up later on once I'm a bit more experienced. I intend this to be fairly strict in terms of major canon relationships and such, I don't have a problem with people who change them and actually quite like a number of stories that do, but I'd like to try something other than the 50th readerxannabeth fic (dont yell at me I actually enjoy those). I also will not be having (Y/N) "take Percy's place" in any way. Again, I have no problem with others who write this way, but it is not how I want to do it. I grew up with Rick's superb writing, and I don't intend to make any fundamental changes to Percy's story. It is great as is and I don't exactly feel qualified to change it. Perhaps I will get more ambitious as I go along, but I am fairly certain of this at the moment. (Y/N)'s story is complimentary. It will of course involve many changes to events, new events, and even slight lore changes to make things work, but it will all make sense within the original framework and hopefully won't be too jarring. In terms of long term plans. I aim to at least get through the end of HoO. That'll probably take a good year or so, so I think that's a solid aim for now. I'm from Long Island, so expect a LOT of specific LI and NY references here and there. Think of them as fun easter eggs :) Books one and two are going to fairly brief compared to the later ones. They're not short by any means, they'll be a solid 3 hour read each, but the later ones will be notably longer. And if that requires forging a desperate pact with a half-vampire, despite his deep-seated hatred towards his kind, then so be it. *** It's mostly a comfort read, so I'd recommend reading when you're in for the long haul (It's a fantasy romance after all!) Also, regarding the Mature Warning: 1. The story does contain mature scenes, but only in chapters where it is explicitly mentioned. The rest of the story remains clean. 2. Also, the mature chapters are completely skippable. The storyline continues exactly from where it left off before those chapters, so skipping them will not affect your understanding of the plot in any way. These scenes sort of act as a more detailed alternative to the usual "fade-to-black" moments, which are otherwise implied in the surrounding chapters. [I own the cover image (prompt generated, then edited in Canva). Rest of the images used in the story, either for references or collages, are from Pinterest. And the story boards and other collages are made using Canva.]
