So now I'm on the run from whatever killed my friends, and weird things are starting to happen to me, I'm not sure what is wrong with me, everything just went wrong since that camping trip.

The class went to the woods for a fieldtrip because of educational purposes. Their enjoying thereselves, camping, swimming in the river, telling horror stories but when they saw a dead body.. the dead body of one of their classmates they all panicked and start to judge each other. If you go down to the woods today... Well, in this town, you probably won't come back. Unexplained deaths and disappearances are normal around here. In Haltonshaw Grove, we tell these real life horror stories to our kids like bedtime tales. They help us learn from a young age to stay out of the forest after dark. But one halloween, we didn't listen- Me and four boys. We broke the rules and we paid the price. We barely made it out alive and now we live with the trauma, the nightmares, the memories. Seven years later, the events of that night, like most things tend to do around here, have come back to haunt us. We never talked about the night we ran in the forest, never spoke afterwards at all really, but now we're going to need each other if we're going to survive what's coming. Me and those boys I've loved all along. - - ‐ - - - - - - - - - - - - - Our town is haunted. The five of us are cursed. And Halloween is just around the corner... Let's see who makes it to November 1st.
Wives' Murder Club
The dates match. Everything added up. How could I not realize it? The bodies. The charges. The gossip. The rumours. The accuracy. The deaths. Every single body went missing. They were right, I should have listened. I knew something was weird, but not this bad. Church on Sundays, book club on Mondays, Bible study on Wednesdays, their kids' games on Tuesdays and Thursdays, Charity donations on Fridays, and dates on Saturdays. I guess its true what they say. The biggest monsters don't hide in the darkness of your closet. Instead, they smile in your face in broad daylight. The worst demons don't conceal themselves in your shadow. They thrive in the light. The darkest souls own the brightest smiles. A light so captive, you don't even realize they've gotten so close. Don't even realize when you've befriended them and their darkness has touched you. So, Sometimes, to find the ugliest monster, you have to look in the mirror. P.S, the tags should serve as a warning as well. This story is my own, which means I own the characters, plot, etc. However, I did get some inspiration from James Patterson's WOMEN'S MURDER CLUB, just with a slight twist ;)

"I just realised something." I say, breaking the long silence from the journey. "I'm not gonna be too sad if we don't end up finding her." I speak looking straight ahead as I drive down the road, a million thoughts running through my head. I continue, "Maybe cause to travel is better than to arrive. It's actually what has happened along the way that counts; the tears, the falls and the friendship. It's about the journey and not the destination. And I know she'd think the same. So, I guess, we just gotta trust that the future is gonna work itself out like it's supposed to." I finish off and the other two don't say anything. I glance towards them to see them watch me with apprehension. We all fall silent once again as the trees pass by us, unable to stop thinking about that one silly, reckless knobhead. Something more than normal teenagers struggles. It would have been easier to have everyday problems rather than these... ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ We have been running for an hour, there are many cuts all along my hand and I have broken one of my heels. I can't hear anything except my heart pounding in my ear. So I decreased my pace to calm my heart and to see if we are being followed anymore. I signaled for everyone to stop. " I don't think we are being followed anymore," I said. " I guess you are right," Jim said. There was a long cut across his chest and his shirt was soaked " Oh my God! Is that blood? Are you hurt?" I asked. "Nah, it's just a scratch, it's not even...." But his sentence was drowned by a gunshot ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ What I wouldn't have given for all of this to be a terrible nightmare. but, no one can change the fact that it's my life now.Complete
