Reverie - 𝓣𝓱𝓸𝓻𝓲𝓷 𝓞𝓪𝓴𝓮𝓷𝓼𝓱𝓲𝓮𝓵𝓭 𝔁 𝓞𝓒
A THORIN OAKENSHIELD x OC FANFIC Blair Baggins, sister to Bilbo Baggins, has lived in The Shire her whole life, considering what's beyond the border a distant dream. Distant dreams become reality when an unexpected party arrives to her brother's hobbit hole one spring evening, and what follows goes beyond anything Blair could have ever imagined. Thorin Oakenshield has taken up the arduous task of reclaiming his stolen homeland and entering his rightful position as King Under the Mountain. He never expected that by the end of the journey, he would throw that all away in a second for a single person he had met not 13 months ago. ------------------------------ NOTICE: I chose to mix parts of the book and movie trilogy for this fan fiction! I find it more fun that way plus allows me to incorporate more of a slow burn, if ya know what I mean ;). Don't come at me if I don't get certain lines right or some lore wrong, this is all for fun!

Rue (A Thorin Oakenshield/Hobbit Fanfiction)
Talia Rue Ashenstone had known Thorin Oakenshield all of her life. From running around the halls of Erebor in their youth to running into battle, they had always been the closest of friends, always at each other's side. But when life turned sour for the dwarves and the wounds inflicted throughout their lives piled high, they knew that some things just wouldn't heal. And no matter how deep their love for one another grew, they were heavily burdened people, beaten down for every last breath they took in the harsh world. But those two... They would always fight back. This is a Fanfiction following the adventures of Thorin Oakenshield prior to and during J.R.R. Tolkien's novel, the Hobbit. DISCLAIMER: I do not own any of the characters created by Tolkien or Jackson, except for, including, but not limited to: Talia Rue Ashenstone, Theresa Ashenstone, Lyssael, Beldan, etc. Aside from the main storyline, any other scenes or events are my own. The Girl Who Believed (A Hobbit Fanfiction)
Neither of us uttered a word for the longest time. I step towards him with my eyes never leaving his "Do you know why I came back?" I ask softly "Why I stayed with the company even after we had escaped the goblin hoard, after the Pale Orc nearly killed us, and even after you became a cold and cruel King?" Thorin turns away from me filled with arrogance and his pride not wanting to meet my gaze. I turn his cheek to face me. Just above a whisper I say "Because I believed in you." #FanfictionAwards2018Complete
