People went crazy buying another house, a boat, a Hummer (at 10 miles to the gallon). I distinctly remember two couples, in their late 30s, who were shopping together in Toys R Us. They had a video camera and were discussing the "rules" to this shopping trip. The rules were they had to look into the camera and say what they were buying, for who and why. And the carts had to be overflowing with toys. It was as if they had dreamed their entire lives of doing a "who cares how much it costs" shopping spree at Toys R Us for their children. Just recklessly spending on a bunch of STUFF. That was 2007. And then came 2008. But, more disturbing to me, was the impact it had on families. I think moms and dads lost themselves in providing stuff for their kids and not giving their kids time. And I saw the kids suffer because of it. So, I did a little research and a lot of observing and I wrote a mostly fictional story about an upper-middle class family in the OC. It explores (it simple terms) what was going on in the economy and what teenagers really want from their parents...

Gerard works from 11 to 8 an Italian restaurant while sketching in the morning and afternoon when he can to sell his work. Frank works at his fathers and uncles Italian restaurant but his papa doesn't know he works as a prostitute from 9- when ever his last customer gets rid of their food Frank isn't blind. He can see Gerard from the kitchen when he showed off his smile because someone said they liked his hair. When someone was nice and didn't give him shit during his shift. He could see the way his hips swayed when he walked, seeming like he owned the place. I'm going to try and update at least once a week but right after a chapter I start another before slowly working on the next one. Then I get inspiration and write. By the way, my covers have nothing to do with the book. They're random aesthetics because this book is more fun and has somewhat of a plot to guide it through the story. There is a plot but this story is on the fun side and not very serious. Personally, I read fun books because then I can go back to an emotionally damaging one but whatever. What happens when her plans do a whole 180? In this journey they meet with several uncanny situations, where they are betrayed by friends and rivals have proven loyal to them. They are thrown into a turmoil of lies and even more lies and there is no end to it. But in counter to the dangerous situations, there are many hysterical situations and uproarious people they connect with, but what if the its all just a facade to cover up the debilitating tornado that was heading towards them way too fast? [Read like 10 chapters before judging me because that's when it gets intense

But some people aren't strong. Some people are weak. Some people are naive or are less than smart. And some, well some are all 4. These people are at the mercy of the world and rarely, if ever, get even a chance to climb to the top. And that is simply how the world works. Now, if enough people band together, they can overthrow those who have the monopoly on power. This happened in the final disc war. But what if it hadn't? Dream had the teens cornered but in this world, no reinforcements arrived. So dream won. And that is simply how the world works. Ok. It's dsmp. Anything already in it may or may not appear in this fic. And if it does, it will be dramatized. This includes self harm, suicide, attempted suicide, drugs, murder, abuse in all forms, gaslighting, starvation, beatings, gore, imprisonment, torture, depression, dark thoughts, dark subjects, non bbh approved language, spoilers for the (early) dsmp, and more. I'm not putting tw in the actual chapters themselves because A) I will definitely forget one at some point and B) it's a huge spoiler to do so. But these themes are throughout the story. Unlike my other fics, this ones language will not be bbh approved. I am ashamed of this but the story doesn't work since we'll when a death threat haste word heck in it.
