Eli was barely staying afloat before the apocalypse. Working long shifts, taking care of his younger brother, and just trying to figure out what to do with his life.
When he finds his mom trying to take a chunk out of her youngest son though, Eli knows what was happening. Years of movies and video games had made the Zombie Apocalypse a running joke for the generation, but Eli knew it wasn't a joke he could take.
Will Eli finally be free of the limitations that his past held, will he be free from them? Or will they come back after he's already moved on?

He is at least somewhat aware of us, the reader, and acknowledges us often, that's why he takes explains things with oddly, making a comment or two about how he should've known you wouldn't know that thing. ~Thank you for the continued love for this series! I was 13 when I began this book, and am now taking the time to go back to completely rewrite it, and maybe just publish someday~ I'm 15 and my name is Astrix. Let's start with that.
