Fourteen-year-old Edison Green may be a genius, but he doesn't have a clue about what to do on his first day of high school.
	After being homeschooled until age 9 and then starting college courses, Edison doesn't have any experience with kids his own age. His parents believe he has a rare gift and they don't want him to be distracted by the menial problems of teenagers; instead, they want him to focus on his research project, which could be the next big breakthrough in physics. Edison loves physics more than anything, but loneliness and curiosity about life outside his world cause him to rebel. She's got problems of her own, including a low GPA, which could prevent her from getting a college scholarship. After his last fight, Ethan decides to take retire from fighting and returns to school. His first day back and everyone is already trying to be his friend due to his celebrity status and though he enjoys the attention, he soon realizes that life was more important than any title. What she doesn't know, is that she dances with one of her enemeys: 15 year old Nathan Sykes. She leaves after she dances with him, because she wasn't aloud to go, under her step-mothers orders. When she goes to leave, her mask falls off when she turns around. Nathan picks it up, and runs after her, but it's too late, because she's gone. The next day, Nathan tries to find the girl he danced with the previous night, by asking all the girls at Allenwood if it was their mask. Little did he know, that his last choice was Selena. Will Nathan stop bullying her, or will he bully her more? Will her step-mother find out that she left the house? Will Selena get pulled out of Allenwood? What will her step-mother do to her?
