Gamora is having some weird dreams lately. When I wake her up, the first thing she does is hug me and make me promise I won't leave her side. How could I? I love her. Does she even know that? I'm worried as fuck! She seems like a completely different person and she won't let Mantis or anyone know what's really happening.
I can tell she is anxious, does she know something we don't? I don't even know why, but I bet my Walkman this somehow have to do with Thanos...

Everything seemed to be fine, until it wasn't. The machine malfunctioned and the gamma rays went out of control. Not only did my dad get hit but so did I. The effects weren't exactly the same obviously but they did the same job of giving the victims unnatural abilities. On my run I started to think more about the accident as tears streamed down my face and my feet started to feel like they were on fire since my body wanted to just give out and sulk. My mother chose to leave me, my father tried to leave me. What is it about me that repels people? This is part 1 of Rocket x Oc part 2 coming soon I used to have a beautiful nice life with both my parents that was until my father had passed away just leaving both me and my mother. My mother and me weren't human my father was but me and my mother were a rare bird called a Phoenix. My mother also decided to name me after my own species so that's that I guess. Then as more time went by My Mother caught a rare Phoenix disease and since there were no other Phoenix's no one could help her and I didn't know what to do since I was only 5 at the time. Then sadly my mother had passed away just leaving me with no family at all. So I then decided to have a new life and a new home far away from here. Although would have to learn all my abilities like teleportation, Shapeshifting, illusion's, Invisibility, Fire bending and most importantly Sand Dancing. Sand Dancing included a type of stone and you would do a specific dance to control the sand. After learning all my abilities along with Sand dancing and flying I finally decided to leave this place. I was now at least 13 years old so let's just say some time has passed. I then decided to teleport to the further parts of the galaxy. In that part a lot of things worked differently so I would have to do things I've never done before. Then there I met a Raccoon and some odd plant guy.
