Adrian and her best friend Jamie (who is a normal human) go to an academy where they go to school with three other kids in the same condition as Adrian. They work with Dr. Beadis (Dr. B) who has dedicated his life to studying the genetic mutation in which he has named Monroestosios. And when one of the Adrenaline Kids go missing, their long journey begins.

When twins Skylar and Jake were born, their scientist parents used them as an experiment. Each was injected with a dose of serum that would supposedly make them much stronger, smarter, simply better than other kids. But somebody added a chemical that changed the effects of the serum. As a result each twin got only half of the traits they were originally supposed to get. Skylar got the strength and speed while Jake got the brains. When they realized what had happened, the twins' parents immediately put them up for adoption, so neither one knew of the other. 12 years later Skylar is constantly failing all her classes, and Jake is getting bullied because he is so much weaker than other kids. But then Skylar's adoptive family decides to move across the country to find a new school for their daughter, which happens to be the school Jake goes to. They meet completely by accident. In the meantime, their parents have found a way to fix their mistake from 12 years ago -- they can make one of the twins perfect. But it requires for the other twin to give their life.

Disclaimer: I wrote this novel before the movie Lucy came out it is in no way related but the premise of the brain and the powers eerily similar It is the year 2173. Human beings have evolved to use more than 10% of their brain, and as an effect, possess supernatural powers. Luna and Lara Valkyrie grew up in a foster home in the town of Westhaven, California. Both 18 and having been born on the same day, they were raised as twins, Luna adopting Lara's surname because of her own being unknown. Westhaven is a lovely town, the perfect place to live the american dream in. There is only one problem. Not only there, but in almost every place in the world, human beings are branded with a number, that being the amount of supernatural abilities they possess. By the time each child reaches the age of 18, that number becomes permanent, and everyone with a ranking above 5 is taken away. From that moment on, they belong to the government, and must train in government facilities that are a lot like prisons or army bases. Alex Rubium is a normal teenager who goes to college. He is dealing with the stress of work, all cramped up, not to mention how much he and his best friend struggle to fit in with others. To add salt into the wound, recently, strange things have been happening to him. After an encounter with an escaped wolf/falcon hybrid named Wolfalco, he notices that he might have a superpower. Actually, he does. He can repel or attract things with his hands, solid OR liquid. So, now that he has these powers, while he does want to hide them from people, he also wants to experiment with them. So, he creates himself an alter ego, Attracopel! A vigilante of London. Unfortunately, the police aren't that happy with the existence of a vigilante, and want to arrest Attracopel, despite all the help he is trying to give. The police chief seems especially determined to get rid of him... It becomes apparent that London is in danger. There are vicious attacks happening everywhere, crime rates increasing and it seems like shit has hit the fan. Alex/Attracopel needs to step up, but keep his two lives separate. Can he deal with all of this stress at once? Or will London fall into anarchy?
