The war with the Saviors may be over, but when Daryl saves Sarah from some men in the woods, he, Rick and the Alexandrian's discover that a new group has arrived on their doorstep. A group that has already taken control of most of the road between Atlanta and Washington, and doesn't intend to stop until they have taken it all.
With the stakes higher than ever, can Daryl and Rick bring the Washington communities together to face this new threat? And can Daryl and Sarah's growing bond survive in a world where the walking dead lurk around every corner, and the living can be more dangerous than the dead?
Trigger warnings- Like the show, this is a world with lots of violence, some of it sexual in nature, however it's not explicit or gratuitous. I think if you make it through the first chapter okay, then you'll be fine.
