Okay, so cats don't always land on their feet.
I know that better than most. Since rejoining the Pride, I've made big decisions and even bigger mistakes: the kind paid for with innocent lives. As the first and only female enforcer, I have plenty to prove to my father, the Pride, and myself. And with murdered toms turning up in our territory, I'm working harder than ever, though I always find the energy for a little after-hours recreation with Marc, my partner both on- and off-duty.
But not all of my mistakes are behind me. We're beginning to suspect that the dead are connected to a rash of missing human women and that they can all be laid at my feet--two or four, take your pick. And one horrible indiscretion may yet cost me more than I can bear...

Fighting the Beast Within
If you were to ask any werewolf where their life really started to mean something most would tell you it was when they first laid eyes on their mate. Well I have to tell you that I haven't met my mate but my life definitely matters. It all started with my shift. Ever since I was old enough to walk my dad started training me. My dad always told me the day a wolf shifted would be one of the worst and best days of their life. Well, dad was half right. It was the worst day of my life. But not for the reasons you think. "I didn't think that the first night at my new college would end with me getting my back broken. And not in the fun way. I'm kind of annoyed about it. Not how I wanted to kick this year off. I got into my dream school, University of Miami. Big change from New York but I've loved this school since I found out what college was. I was looking forward to this for a while. I had decided to spend my first two years at a nearby community college to get my pre rec classes out of the way and save money. It was definitely a good idea, but the vibe of the school was: go to class, go home, and that's it. So to get to a big university I was excited for that cliche "college experience." Every adult ever always told me "college is where you're supposed to find yourself" and I was really hoping that would reign true. To kick the year off I wanted to have a fun night out with my new roommates who weirdly didn't have any social media so I was moving in with no prior knowledge of these two other than their names Victoria Brooks and Chloe Whitlock. I wanted to get to know them and get to know the area I'd be living in for the next two years. I say bluntly and turn my back to him. Dalton grabs my arm. "Wait you have to get permission" I twist out of his grasp and he grabs my other arm. Pulling me into him. "So concerned with my father Alt? What would he say if he saw us now?" I whispered in his ear. That got his attention and he released me on the spot. I step away and stand tall. "I could tell father and..." "You wouldn't" Dalton says with his stupid grin I havent seen seance we were pups. I lean in "Maybe, maybe not, who knows what might slip, Alt. You know I'm bad at keeping secrets." "NO! Come on please. I don't want to lose my position. (or my life) You wouldn't do that to me would you Lil?" I got him. As soon as I heard my name slip his lips I knew I'd won. "Tit for tat Alt. I keep your secret you keep mine. Now, I AM going for a run." Dalton rolls his eyes and reclaims his position at my door. My Hybrid Troubles
*This is Purely fantasy* I'm Rose. I am 50% witch, about 25% vampire and about 25% she-wolf (Werewolf). My father IS half warlock and half vampire. My mother WAS half witch and half she-wolf (werewolf). I had two older siblings but they passed away on their sixteenth birthdays. He died after he shifted his first time because he was never told about his genes and what they meant (he died from shock). After my sister passed so did my mother, she was severely depressed and couldn't take the thought of me leaving her too early. Before she died, she told my father everything about herself and her werewolf roots. She only survived until my dad knew everything, it seemed like that was all that mattered, like she knew she was going to die. I have been taught the ways of my ancestors, werewolf, vampire and witch, slowly so I can absorb it all properly. ------------------------- This story is about me, a young girl, with a lot of issues. "You have a lot of explaining to do young lady." I turned around to see Vincent and James with only shorts on. "I don't know what you mean?" I said innocently. I looked around to see Ethan gone. "We mean how did your wounds heal so quickly?" Vincent replied. "Well to get an answer you will have to catch me first." I said running off letting my wolf take over once again, Natalie shifts into my wolf and takes off.
