The Bloodline of Wolves
Magic should never have found its way into human lands and nature always must have a balance. When man first used magic to turn to wolf, nature's scales were tipped as the wolves ravaged any human territory they desired. In nature's attempt to find balance once again, man rose from the dead. His lethal bite reduced the numbers of wolf packs, however it was the venom and bloodlust that had unprecedented consequences. Humans faced the fate of falling prey to the wolves or victim to the blood drinkers. Nature finally bound both creatures to curses in order to bring power back to the humans. Blood drinkers were condemned to a life in shadows and their venom that could create others became immensely diluted. And so nature found balance in the separation of the three worlds; blood drinkers, wolves, and humans. All will be well in the human lands again-- except curses cannot be created without a loophole. When centuries pass and the curses have taken its rightful control of the blood drinker and wolf species, the scales will finally tip in the favor of the humans. The wolf born of just one drop of magic in their blood will create the key that combines the three worlds once more.
