Who knows the danger lurking in the Siren forest. even with protection anything can happen. On their journey to the elves, some of the most powerful creatures in the world meet someone who might be a valuable piece in this game of chess. She has unimaginable power. Unfortunately The elves Queen can tell if you are lying and her daughter can torture you by one stare. Along their journey they will come across many friends and foe. Dragons can burn you to a crisp or eat you up and Sorcerers can kill you with a flick of their wrists. Dark forces chase after them as Kansas struggles to learn her dark past. Rune mage
Rune mages are rare and frankly everyone knows rune mages don't usually survive the training required to become a sanctioned mage. Rouge mages are hunted and killed. Logan Lofe is determined to finish the mage training as top mage, despite being a rune mage and limited to runes. But his success comes at a high price even he can't predict. In a battle of him against an army, will his rune magic be enough? You might enjoy this story if you like first person narratives, like magic and (possibly overpowered) underdogs who may or may not gradually become less stable as the story goes on. If you're looking for a lot of descriptions of physical characteristics of characters or land or buildings... I'm not great at that and as a reader I prefer making my own descriptions. Feel free to leave ideas. The only part of this that used any AI was the artwork on the cover, which I hope to replace with an original Kreayshawn by a human as soon as I have the funds. Gideon Saint is dying for something exciting to happen in his life. With his love of history, he figures an internship at the museum has to be a good start, right? Anything is better than listening to his parents argue or sitting alone in his room doing research no one but him seems to care about. A chance encounter with a magical ring leaves him transported to an alternate version of ancient Wales, or as it was sometimes called, Cambria. 1432 Wales, to be exact. Here magic is the most powerful weapon of all as kings vie for power. Good thing Gideon's teleportation from the present has also left him with the ability to use magic, and he's quickly regarded as a powerful wizard. In this timeline, Wales maintained it's independence, but that's about to change. Henry V is on the throne of the England, and the greatest warrior king England has ever had has set his sights on Wales. Can Gideon help save his newfound friends and master his new powers, while living a double life in the 21st century? Ahem, living people die, dying people live, Henry V is here and he's awesome despite being the main antagonist, everybody is vaguely gay, swords are described in loving detail, people are not, lovely platonic friendships, did we mention swords? Yes, you may learn something about history, but that's a risk you'll have to take. Basically, think of this as a Percy Jackson type of adventure, but it's historical fiction instead of Greek gods. The narrator is 15 and the major supporting characters are 14, 17, and 19. That said, there's nothing in the way of content that's inappropriate for a younger reader. As always if you're not here to go on a fun little adventure find a different story. Trigger/Content: very mild language, some magic violence, fantasy violence. Self-harm is briefly discussed. Adoption issues are discussed as well as brief scenes of a abusive family. Characters briefly mention crushes and or dating, no real innuendos.Complete

They invited me to their masquerade. Three cursed brothers- One a warrior. One an assassin. One a prince. I'm just an ordinary, nerdy, twenty-three-year-old girl.
