"Hey" I heard someone yell as I left the basketball game. I looked to my right and saw the girl speaking to me. She was gorgeous. Like why-is-this-girl-talking-to-me-omg-i-need-to-say-something-and-stop-staring-holy-freaking-shit gorgeous. "Are you alright?" She asked as we walked out of the school. "Some of the other cheerleaders were laughing, but I don't think what happened was funny at all."

"I'm okay," I said. Really, I wasn't. I had just humiliated myself in front of the entire student section of my new school. Stupid freaking jocks. "I'm just going to try to catch a ride home or start walking home."

"No way are you walking! Come on I'll drive you home and help get you cleaned up." She smiled brightly at me with a beautiful smile. Wait what the hell... that's a weird thought for me. Come on Bri, get it together girl.

"No, it's okay. It's not that far, so I can walk. Besides, you still have the rest of the game so..." I trailed off looking down at my shoes, hoping she couldn't hear my pulse racing.

"They'll be fine in there, seriously. We were going to lose the game anyways. I'm Camren by the way. Camren Rooks." She started to walk out to the parking lot, assuming I'd follow her. "You're new right?"

Yeah, I was new, and this new school sucked. Anders, Indiana... Middle-of-freakin-nowhere Indiana was more of the truth. "Yeah, I'm new. My name is Brianna Lynn, but you can just call me Bri or Brilynn," I spluttered. Okay, what the hell? I never let anyone call me Brilynn.
