Cristina Paris is what you would call your average/typical girl. She always does her homework, gets THE BEST grades in school, never gets in trouble, and always gets home on time. I guess you could say that she's well.....PERFECT. Although perfect is overrated...she sure is close to perfect. As the summer ends for Cristina, she enters a new territory.....High School. As an incoming freshman, there is so much to learn. The teachers, her schedule, the students, the boys. It's a good thing her best friend Jacentah is a junior at Starzville Academy or else she would be toast. But like everybody, we must learn things on our own. Jacentah gives Cristina the "rundown" of the school.... the food, the teachers, the people to hang out with and most importantly, the people to stay AWAY from. To be specific, Landon Blake. The "Badass" boy of the school. Landon isn't the typical boy Cristina would go for...AT ALL. But since their first encounter, it's been pretty hard NOT to stay away from him. Yes he is TOTALLY hot and secretly a musician god, but, he doesn't like to show it because he wants to "Maintain his Reputation". In this story, friendships will be tested, romances will begin and true colors will be shown. Will Cristina choose the forbidden one or, listen to her friends and do what's best her?
"Have we met before?"
Those were the words that seemed to echo through the very depths of our souls.
Elena Smith is your typical high-school girl. No, she does not like the spotlight. In fact, she prefers to take the quieter route with much less drama and less people. Her number one enemy is betrayal, wounds may heal but that doesn't mean the scar won't be there. Everybody has a chapter they don't read out loud, everybody is fighting a battle that you know nothing of. Why were people so quick to judge her? None of this matters now for she's stronger, she rose from hell but nonetheless that doesn't mean the pain doesn't come back from time to time. "Smile through the tears." That's what she has been telling herself throughout the years.
Diego Matthews, hah! Your typical bad boy, player, womanizer and manwhore... or so you may assume.
Was he always like this?
Is there a reason that triggered all this insensitivity?
Is he fighting a battle nobody knows of?
Could she be the one to see the light in him?
Will they remember that she was his light a few years back when all he saw was pitch black?
People change, but they will soon realise that they have a tied up past. It wasn't their fault, of course. Simply the cause of their suffering...
Will they be able to break down each other's walls completely? Lord knows how high they built them.
