Miku and Gakupo had always had something special between them. It made sense since Miku was always treating him with the kindness and respect the others didn't give him, and Gakupo always returned every favor. Miku was always kind and helpful to everyone, always wanting to make people happy. Gakupo would protect those he loved (both physically and emotionally) at all costs, especially after that horrible ordeal that he had endured when he was younger and was still suffering emotionally from years later.
