In this world exists an isolated and secret group of people called "Fractionals" who were people born with only half a soul. Each one has different incredible powers. Because they only have half a soul they are plagued with the worst challenges imaginable. Also if they can't find their other half by the time they are 23 years, 5 months, and 13 days old, their body will destroy their remaining remnant of their soul.

The world's war against dragons has been going on for generations, but no one knows why they fought. After years of fighting a new species emerged, shapeshifters. They were able to shift between a dragon and human form, making them impossible to find. Everyone referred to them as halflings, half dragon and half human. They were said to have wondrous abilities ranging from an armor like pelt to healing powers. These abilities made them prized creatures and wanted across all lands. Those that were discovered usually ended up as pets or fighters in arena's. After five years of their existence they all went into hiding, fearing what the humans did to those that had been captured. They were taught at a young age to never show what they could do to a human, as it would lead to being caught and possibly killed. There were small sanctuaries in each town, though they appeared to be normal hotels or orphanages. And this is when our story takes place.... Sealed Away
May finds out a mysterious part of her life that her parents haven't been telling her. She's adopted, but that's not the only thing. Her adoptive parents tell her that her biological parents were from another world, they were what mortals called, 'Half breeds'. Does this mean she's also a half breed you might ask? Well yes but she doesn't know that yet. On a half breed's 13 birthday the half breed would start to grow in. May turned 13 today and was started to grow ears, claws, fangs and even a tail. She didn't know what monster she would become. So for her adoptive parents safety they decide to send her to away to a camp that they've been talking about for years. So then she arrived at a portal in the woods greeted by a guard. The guard sends her through the portal and when she arrived to the other she had seen something unbelievable, people just like her. They had wings, tails, and even claws. Once she got to her cabin, there was a girl with wings, who new May and this other girl would become good friends after that.Complete

Rose has a secret and no one knows what it it, but no one really cares, but her secret follows her around, literally. Rose lives in a world where there are only kids (Well under 20) and right before there 20th birthday they get taken away, no one knows what happens to them but the all suspect that there dead. Rose is 19, meaning she doesn't have long before it her turn. Everyone gets their blood drawn daily, but no one knows why. The only a adults are the Helpers (the doctors) as Rose likes to call them and Them but Rose doesn't ever know if they're human.
