For as long as Charlie Densmore can remember her Father has always avoided taking her into Honeydukes. Her childhood protests going unheard as he would quickly drag her away before the store's sweet fumes reached them.
Yet when Charlie begins her first year at Hogwarts and a mysterious blue letter and a chocolate bar are delivered to her on the train by the Trolley Lady. Not only does Charlie get her first real taste of Sugar but also discover's her grandfather is the infamous wizard Willy Wonka.
As she starts to correspond with her grandfather, his enthusiasm and love for Candy soon spread to Charlie who starts creating wacky candy ideas of her own. She begins to keep her ideas hidden away in a journal that's disguised as a potions book to stay out of trouble with her dad and also keep away from the spotlight of being related to "Crazy Willy" as her grandfather is commonly known among wizards.
Yet when her journal falls into the hands of none other then the Weasley Twins, her hopeful dream of having a quiet 4th year is shattered as chaos ensues.
