For Vinnie, the chief of the infirmary, it seems the war will start and end well for the Dauntless and other opponents of the Divergent.
She's prepared, her extraordinary skills making her confident, though that attitude changes immediately when a seemingly harmless little note, left at her doorstep, brings up history and painful memories.
A long kept secret threatens to spill, putting Vinnies life at risk though there's no other choice but to go into the war and watch her own back.

Someone, who he grew very close to and learned to honor and cherish, is being threatened and could be taken away from him though there's no other choice but to go into the war and hope for the best.
