At Kenwood High School, there are trademarks given to everyone, all who belong to a certain group. It just so happens that Taylor Stewart belongs to the highest of all. She is head cheerleader, popular, gorgeous and has a hot boyfriend.

But one day is forced to be tutored by a nerd that goes by the name Logan Peters. At first the feelings are mild, but as she sees him every day after school, they gradually grow. She goes from failing grades to getting all A's. Could this be possible? A popular social falling for a smartie like Logan? After she realizes her feelings, Taylor attempts to let him know just how much she likes him.

But he knows of her reputation and assumes she is putting on a play. Taylor is hurt by this and is willing to do whatever it takes just to get him to believe her, but then worst things happen. People at school are giving her strange looks, she's kicked off the cheer squad and her boyfriend Damien breaks up with her.
