I was born the day Boudicca fell. My whole life I lived in fear of the day when Rome's armies would march northwards, into our unconquered lands. It felt inevitable. If the legions came, people would die. Farms and forts would be burned to the ground. Free people would become slaves overnight, and to stop such cruelty, the chiefs of the northern tribes would be asked to kneel, to swear fealty to an Emporer the people didn't recognise. Or we could fight.

War was coming. I'd known that from the first moment I could know anything, but time was finally running out. And why now? Why, when Roman progress in Britannia had been thwarted so many times, did their reach now extend beyond the land of the Brigantes?

It started with Andraste, goddess of war and victory. She turned her back of those she was sworn to protect, all for the love of a warrior far beneath her station. She condemned Boudicca, and all the fallen kings, queens, and chieftains that followed in the footsteps of the Iceni queen. I could hate the gods for their betrayal, but as a slave was about to show me, the sway of love was not something to be underestimated. So the question became this; could love survive the wrath of the gods?

The Roseblood Clan. Three thousand years worth of magic cursing through their people's blood. Long before the Bennetts, before the Travellers, The Other Side and the Ancestors, there had been the Roseblood clan. Witches forged from the dying breath of a dragon in the centre of Scotland. The blood of the dragon was the legacy of their people. Yet, stories and history could be twisted by the victors of the many battles that had plagued the clan. A war between kin had destroyed the legacy of the Roseblood Clan. After a thousand years, their rule of magic had come to a halt. For over two thousand years, a story had been spun. The story of the evil siphoner. The abomination that had ruined their line. Yet, the truth loomed, threatening to reveal the true reason as to why siphoners existed. What their true purpose was. Were they abominations, the bastards of the magical world or were they meant to take power from those undeserving to ensure it was not misused? Only the victor of the battle gets to tell the tale. Athena Flora Roseblood was far from a victor. Being a firstborn Roseblood had cursed her like many others before her. Firstborn women in their line were not meant to meet their first breath of air, they were destined to die, to be sacrificed within the womb to help empower their coven, yet for the first time in two thousand years, a firstborn woman had come screaming into the world. Athena was never been meant to be born. Her blood haunted her from the second she took her first breath, her house divided thanks to thousands of years of lies. Lies that may never come to the light of day. Fear was a powerful totem and after two thousand years of lies, it left Athena trapped within the cage created for her. The abomination, the bastard of nature, the Roseblood Siphoner. Nothing to the world but a mistake and a monster.

All that is gold does not glitter, Not all those who wander are lost, The old that is strong does not wither, Deep roots are not reached by the frost From the ashes a fire shall be woken, A light from the shadows shall spring, Renewed shall be the blade that was once broken, The crownless again shall be king. The guardians are an ancient race that once ruled over Westeros. They were made mainly to protect, keep the peace and later on to defeat the white walkers that posed a huge threat to their country. When the Targaryens had won the Iron Throne, the tables turned on the guardians as all of them were wiped out in a matter of months. Elena Snow always thought that she was the only guardian left. It was when Ned Stark had taken her in to protect his family for the rest of her life that she found out that she was kept alive for a reason, that reason being to protect Robb Stark from the guardian they called the Dark One. So I basically wrote this book because I hate it that Robb died. I decided to add a complete new storyline to it but to also follow the original plotline. Btw, this is somewhat multifandom... Like there are characters such as Steven and Sam, Louis etc. that are from a lot of other fandoms. So expect a lot of references! I do not own the characters in this book, exept for Elena Snow (and a whole lot of others tbh, mainly the guardians). All the rights go to George R. R. Martin (poem belongs to LOTR series) Some reviews: @targxryen AAAAAAA I LOVE YOUR STORY PLS UPDATE SOON ♡ @agnight Jon and Elena meet! Quotes are always spot on! You my friend Are an awesome writer! @Icywolfs I love your story btw it's absolutely astounding! :D WARNING: I wrote this story when I was 11. Reading it back now is well... painful. Through thick and thin the Law shall prevail. A new sense of purpose awaits us, children of light, in the land where it all began. The darkness in which we once cowered in fear, now curbed by the might of our endless light. Come, brothers, come, sisters. Let there be peace among the wicked, just as the Law dictates. Peace and certainty is all that you have ever longed for, little angel. A bright, stable future. A roof without holes above thy head. Acknowledgement and recognition of thy existence, feverish dreams of grandeur. Greed born from yearning, treacherous vines of rapacity taint your innocent soul. You seek a future that does not exist. Let thy fingers hold the fragile line between dream and nightmare. Let thy light navigate the path. Shall thee give in and falter, O' land of old, envelop his body in thy unending flame of chaos. Spit out nothing but an empty husk, the remnants of a smile once so bright. Shall thee prevail, O', Great Kazdel, I ask of you, the impossible - take mercy on the innocent. Don't let the radiance dim and don't let the mind turn bleak. Wake, young traveler. Bid thy farewells and burn thy bridges. It's time to say goodbye, curly head. Cross post from AO3. For a shorter and more on-point description, look no further! I had something silly written up before throwing it out in exchange for that wall of text upstairs. It's a little story "about a young, dumb sankta who's been dealt a bad hand at life, looking for his place in all this mess. The pointless search for a better future leads him far, far away from home, to a country forever ravaged by war and misery - Kazdel, the promised land where devils roam free and peace feels out of place." Anyway, it's quite lengthy, but hopefully enjoyable? Slide a comment if you want, I'll give you a tiny kiss on the forehead. Man, do I love comments. (Lastly, to point out, English is not my native language, but I don't think it'll be much of an issue ;3)

May 9th, 2042; The day after the end of World War Three and the surrender of Germania, which was analogously named the 5th Reich, as officially designated by the Organization of Nations. On this day, crowds filled the streets of every major city worldwide, celebrating the elimination of the greatest threat to the existence of the human race. However, while parties and crowds gathered in two of the three major cities in New Canteria, namely Okha and Vladivostok, the third major city, Arnket, was undergoing decontamination due to the radiation caused by a German nuclear strike in early May as it had resulted in a large crater and an engineered radioactive toxic rain cloud. Aside from that though it seemed as if all would go swimmingly for humanity. Until an alien race named the Neuroi appeared. The date is June 9th, 2042. A full month after the surrender of Germania and a week after the Mecklenburg-Vorpommen massacre. As New Canteria was receiving flak from the Organization of Nations, a sudden disturbance was detected by a Canadian satellite as a mysterious black cloud arose from the North Pole. However the Canadian government paid no mind to it. The last mistake they would make as it was them. They struck down on humanity like a thunderbolt in their most vulnerable moments as the North Canadian forces in the area were almost destroyed from the Neuroi attack, driving thousands and eventually millions from their homes in a attempt to escape the Neuroi. However the human race wouldn't go down without a fight. Mobilizing troops freed up from the end of WW3, the ON and a new organization named NORDEN (NHDA) made a successful resistance against the Neuroi and drove them back to the North Pole. However what they found next would have news of it reverberate across the world. A wormhole to a universe still fighting the Neuroi. (Note: I do not own the World Witches series and all media relating to it.)

I fell in love with Hansel seven years ago. I fell in love with a side of him that was sweet, caring, persistent and loving. He taught me what it felt like to be human, what it meant to love someone with all your being. And then he came: Klaus. He's declared war three years earlier than we predicted and it's forced Hansel and I to do the one thing we promised not to do: separate. We both joined the GUARDIANS in order to help, but in a desperate attempt to find where Klaus will open his portal and begin the war, Hansel gave up the one thing that was most precious to him: his memories of us. I promised him I would never give up on him, that I will help him remember. But that is coming out to be harder than I thought. The Hansel before me was an utter asshole. He was arrogant, pigheaded and sexist. He hates me for reasons unknown to me but I can't help but still love him. But it hurts to see the vacant look in his eyes. He doesn't remember me or our family and I can't tell him in fear of losing him- for good this time. He has no idea what he means to me and I'm too afraid to tell him. While he's trying to figure out why he can't remember the last seven years of his life, I'm desperately trying to get him to fall back in love with me. But I never thought it would be so hard. Alaric McQuillen. He's making things much more complicated than they have to be. He started from being a nuissance to being a nice distraction from my husband's coldness. Could I be falling out of love with my husband and falling in love with someone else? Now add the fact that we need to help prepare an entire army for a war to save mankind and you've got one fucked up month. ~*~*~ {OFFICIALLY COMPLETED!!} [Second Book to the Fervent Trilogy]

One moment, I'm tracing my bleeding hand over vivid, newly unearthed frescoes of three striking men in a Late Republican villa, their features eerily reminiscent of the fresco I've studied since I was ten: Roman Senator Marcus Valerius, whose family vanished from history in 50 BC. The next, I'm sprawled across a marble floor in ancient Rome, pinned beneath the hard, commanding body of Marcus himself-flesh and blood, pulsing with raw power. And good grief, nothing captured the fire in his piercing stare or the way his touch ignites my traitorous body. But the history books lied. Marcus isn't the last Valerius. He has three brothers, each more dangerously captivating than the last-men I now know match those cryptic frescoes. Lucius, the battle-scarred warrior, whose heated grappling in the training yard leaves me breathless. Flavius, the silver-tongued diplomat, whose calculated caresses in shadowed corridors unravel my resolve. And Rufus, the freedman with knowing eyes, whose gentle touch conceals a hunger that sets my heart racing. Trapped in ancient Rome with no way home, I'm ensnared in a web of desire and deceit. The Valerii brothers want me-each in their own intoxicating way-and resistance feels like a losing battle. Worse, there is a fifth fresco, and it hides a chilling secret that threatens to upend everything I know. Am I a stranger in Rome, or the key to the Valerii family's mysterious erasure from history? With enemies closing in and time itself against me, I must choose: fight for a way back to my world or surrender to a fate that could rewrite the past.

I walked into the wooden cage, walking up to the vampire slowly, taunting him. I finally take a seat across from him. I nodded to the boys and they left the room. I twisted the lid to my water bottle that I brought with me, taking a slow sip. Staring at the sleeping vampire, I threw the rest at him, dousing him with it. He shot up out of his sleep. "WAKE UP BITCH!!!" I screamed with so much anger I shook the cage. Standing up, the chair falling over in the midst. "I thought you guys didn't sleep." I laughed grabbing his head roughly in my hands. Finally. I looked at him and got lost in his red eyes. He was so gorgeous, god-like; and I know Gods. Why do I feel so in love right now? Answering my question but not with an answer I would love, he speaks up. "Beloved." ***** Join Isabella as she meets her rare mate, becomes the Alpha, and leads them into war. Did her mate come at a bad time or just right? Will there be drama? Of course. Will there be death? Most likely. How will her life go?
