Hot little shiver? She'd been having those a lot lately, ever since that day she had left the door open and Alison saw way more than she should have.
It was so crazy, this growing awareness she had of her now, as a partner or a girlfriend. There was like a secret between them - That was how it felt at lest. A secret that created a forbidden intimacy, an intimacy that, really, was only in her mind. She imagined Alison felt it, too.
But Emily had no real proof of that.
None. Zero. Zip.
