"I felt like I was being watched. No, that's stupid. I knew I was being watched. I had felt a presence observing me my whole life, however, today it felt stronger. Stronger as in it wasn't being as subtle as it usually was. "

My name is Aliya Mendez. I was a normal teenager with some family problems. You know, dead father and mother, have to live with horrible mother's sister, that type. However, it's not everyday you discover your true family origins through a stupid, supposed harmless ritual. All Lucas' fault I tell you. Anyway, there I learn about other fantasy places trying to take over ours, and the price we pay if they succeed. What is my role? The one who has to stop the necromancers.
