Not long after Zero Two and Hiro reunite, the members of squad 13 return to base for some much needed rest and relaxation. Although Doctor Franxx notices some strange readings coming off the squad's Franxx during some standard repairs. These strange events include the mech's faces appearing when not pilots are present in the cockpit and the act of moving on their own. Eventually these strange occurrences lead to a shocking discovery, the Franxx have come to life and have personalities that are combinations of both their pilot's personality's. If that wasn't enough the Franxx start referring to their pilots as they're parents. Someone help this poor group of teenagers.
