I grabbed my glass, sliding hers to her and taking a long drink as she hesitantly reached out to take her glass. I watched her staring at the brown liquid in the glass, looking to be debating. "It will help with the pain you're in," I decided to say, making her look up at me. There was something in the depths of her eyes, something that nearly made me shiver. Then she looked back at the glass, tilting it to her lips and downing the entire contents. I was surprised, seeing her clench her eyes shut, her lips in a firm line. "Why did you have them brand me?" she finally asked, setting her glass back on the table before meeting my gaze. "Marking you," I replied. *************************************** *************************************** Evelyn has given up on life as an upstanding citizen when she is taken by unknown men with cash to burn. She's forced into a life she had escaped years ago and was not looking forward to going back to. A life that was full of bullets, blood and a whole lot of mafia men and women. Alejandro was born and raised mafia...he knows just what to do and when for the safety of his family, and he'll stop at nothing to prove it. He's cunning, wickedly handsome and dangerous, pure and simple. What he doesn't understand, is that the woman he just brought into his home is all of that and more - hidden behind a nerdy exterior. I'm doing a story based on these three words. Perfect. Stuck. Lost. My friend is also doing this challenge so i hope you enjoy this story! And don't worry i'll still work on my other story!! This story is about a boy who wants to do things the way his home used to live like. . . will he see the flaws in others and judge them or learn to be understanding of others? Read to find out. It is my first few books so this may suck but I'll get better. Super cringe so just switch to one of my other books. Probs won't finish book two of this, if I'm being honest, this wasn't the best. Might rewrite it one day. (Looking back, I was on some sort of drugs cause what was I thinking? I'm surprised people can even find this garbage fire.)Complete

They used my vulnerability against me. They used that weapon, to make me accept their stupid idea. And I of course, accepted it, I didn't even know what they were going to do. They tugged and poked and even shoved their disgusting finger in your wound, just to see you cry. To see you change. No pitty in their eyes. They just continue. They drag you around with metal chains, hit you and turn you into a experiment. But I had enough of the tugging, the clawing, the moaning, the crying and pleading for them to stop, but simply feeding them with our pain. They turned me into something, that neither do they know what I am. Their afraid of me, of my reflexes, my strength. I killed a lot of them. They say I have a cold heart, that I don't feel nothing. A teen girl, pitch black hair, black eyes, white skin. Her height is 5'8. People are scared of her, not just because of her strength but because of they way she kills. When did life become so hard...It's been ages since I had last smile, not since their deaths. I admit, if I hadn't gotten to know her or if she wasn't the one who approached me then maybe they'd still be alive and I would be just as it was before...happy.
