August 20, 1910, British investigator, Louis Morrington, arrived in Riverton, Virginia to visit his childhood friend, Thomas Loom. Short after his arrival, the biggest murder in the small town's history occurs, leaving residents in fear and shock of who did it. The town is put in lock down, trapping everyone with the murderer. Louis decides to help with the investigation with the help of Thomas, Czech crime journalist Nadia, French housemaid Emile, and performer Dean Flyer.
