The sequel to "Escaping The Maze," we see Cleo growing distant and being uncharacteristically quiet. They meet Janson, who Minho calls "The Rat Man" and they're informed of the Scorch. As Newt tries to find out what's wrong with Cleo, she begins to grow close to Aris, a new guy from another Maze. Newt immediately doesn't trust the guy, worried about him hurting Cleo. But when they're told to pass through the "Flat Trans," he may have no choice but to trust Aris. Could he even survive without Cleo?
