'She clutched the present to her chest with her left arm and knocked with her right, as she listened to the faint screams and laughter coming from the other side. She wiped her sweaty hand against her jeans and glanced around the seemingly perfect neighborhood. It seemed like 5 minutes had passed before she raised her hand to knock again only to halt at the sight of the blond curly haired girl smiling wildly at her.'
Lauren's had a hard life. From birth she's been told who, what, where, when, why, and how to do things and they were expected immediately. One night, as she tossed and turned she decided she didnt want that life anymore and went in search of a better one for her and her daughter. What she found was a lot of heartache, family, and a little love.
