One of my best friends is very sad about what happened to Nick's character in season 4, so, while mourning, she decided to write this piece. She said fanfics are good for a broken heart. She doesn't have an account, but she asked me to put it here on mine, maybe it can sooth some other people too. I think it offers Nick a better outcome and it is a very nice read. This conflicting feelings of helplessness and being cornered annoying her greatly. Everything Troy said made her angry and if it was before she wouldn't care about any of this. She'd stay as far away from him as possible and watch it all crash and burn before escaping with her family. But they had a mutual respect for one another now. That's what Cristine liked to believe until Troy smashed it like some cheap vase in barely a few days. Cristine felt betrayed and sickened by his actions.
